Kicks is a Premier League programme, funded in Windsor & Maidenhead by Thames Valley Police, which uses the power of football and appeal of Reading Football club to engage young people aged 11-18 in order to create safer, stronger, more respectful communities by developing young peoples’ potential. The programme uses the power of football to improve health and wellbeing as well as breaking down barriers and creating routes into volunteering, education, training and employment. The project will be run by Reading Football Club at Windsor Boys School, all year round on Tuesdays 3.30pm-5.30pm for the next 3 years! It is not an issue if the young person cannot arrive on time due to travelling from outside of Windsor, they can join in when they arrive.

In order to be accepted on the course, a consent form will need to be completed by a parent/guardian. Please forward all completed forms to myself.

Any young person can attend, but we really want to focus on young people that would benefit the most and therefore please consider any young people that you may be concerned about and signpost them onto the project.
Reading have stated that they can provide specialist staff for children and young people with SEND in addition. Anyone is welcome!
