Staines and Windsor Martial Arts Karate (SAWMAK)
Martial arts class, based on fairly traditional sports style Japanese karate but more modern and no Japanese terminology! This class is for ages 6 and above, including teenagers and adults. (There is a class for secondary school children and adults in Egham on Mondays). For very young children we require a parent to be present or very close by. Many parents train alongside their children, this is not obligatory, but is particularly helpful for very young students. The class is not aimed specifically at children with special needs, but they are certainly very welcome to try and see if the class suits them and we have done this several times in the past.

Costs
Club membership is £20 per month. Students, after their introductory period, require a karate suit and belt, mitts and leg protectors and a license at additional cost. Gradings and special events also incur additional charges

The building is easily accessible, but the class is held in a studio on the first floor, accessible only by stairs
