Children's centres bring together a range of services, advice and guidance to support families and children under eight years old.
The children's centres in the borough offer a timetable of:
play sessions including sessions for children with additional needs
access to health visitor services
speech and language appointments with a therapist at Poppies Children's Centre'
back to work and training advice and other more specialist support when needed.
Children's centres are a mainstream service that everyone can access. There are also some sessions which specifically support young children with additional needs. At Eton Wick these include:
You can book a sensory session in the Sensory room at Eton Wick Children's Centre. Babies and children benefit from sensory stimulation and the sensory room allows you to have quality one to one bonding time with your child.
Book a half hour session every Thursday 10am to 3pm

On-street parking near the Children's Centre
No designated disabled parking, but Children's Centre staff can offer assistance if families contact Datchet Children's centre prior to attending
Wheelchair and pushchair accessible, however, due to space requirement we ask that pushchairs are left in the covered buggy area
Baby changing facilities and disabled toilets available.
