Set in a unique riverside location near Marlow, Buckinghamshire, Longridge provides a range of exciting water sports and land-based activities aimed at young people of all abilities including:

Boating centre has a boat for disabled children, hoist and fully accessible changing and shower areas.

Holiday activities

Throughout all the School Holidays, we run Activity Days each week day. These days are a great way to try out Longridge activities and enjoy a fun day outdoors.

We will provide all safety equipment and a sandwich lunch too. Please send your young person with plenty of sun screen, two changes of clothing and dressed appropriately for the weather – hopefully a sun hat!

We can’t guarantee exactly what the activities will be on offer on the day, as they are subject to change due to weather variations, river levels and how many in total are due to attend.

An activity day starts at 8:30am and either finishes at 16:00 and costs £40 for 4 activities or 17:30 and costs £50.00, for 5 activities.

After School activities

Throughout the year we run courses after school throughout the week. These courses work towards a kayaking, sailing or rowing qualification. During the autumn and winter terms we also run climbing courses.

Activity Days and Weekends

All year round Longridge holds days for families where fun and adventure are the name of the game. Family Activity Days are perfect for adults and children over eight years old. Families are welcome to book throughout the year, however during the summer we offer full Activity Days, specifically for families which you can book as a family group to enjoy our activities.

Family Activity Days run on various dates throughout the year and cost £16.00 per person. The activities will start at 10.30 and finish by 16.00.

We also run Family Activity short-breaks which offer the whole family the chance to come and take part in some of our activities and the chance to stay on site either one of our campsites or in our bunk house accomodation with a choice of self-catering or café meals.

Family Activity Short-breaks cost £26 per person with one night camping, 2 activities on day 1 and 2 activities on day 2. Indoor accommodation is available on request.

Family activities are for those aged over 8 and upwards and an adult must take part with the family.
