Support for Families - The Family Hub Service

Raising a family can be rewarding and enjoyable time but we know there are times when extra support is needed. In May 2021 The new Family Hub Service replaced the previously known Youth Service, Children's Centres and Family Resilience Teams with the aim of providing a whole family approach to supporting our children, young people and families. The new service is made up of 2 area hubs (Maidenhead and Windsor Areas) with staff also sitting outside of the area hubs and working across the borough.

Within the Family Hub Service there are; Family Coaches, Family Hub Workers, Youth Workers, Parenting Workers, Substance Misuse Workers and the Youth Engagement Officer

Each worker has a case-load of families that they work with on a one:one basis or within groups. For families that are unable to access support within the Family Hub Centres, Family Hub Workers can arrange to visit you at home or talk to you over the telephone.

Family Hub Workers are happy to talk to you about any issue that may be affecting your family life and work closely with other organisations and services to help you get the right support. The Family Hub Service provides the following support/interventions:
