In November 2019 The Children and Young People’s Disability Service (CYPDS) ran a  Poetry competition for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities across the borough. The poem had to be about the SEND Local Offer website.
The community responded very well and the Local Offer inbox was filled with beautifully written poems. The Local Offer team had a hard time deciding who would win. In the end, Tommy Cobbold's poem titled Helping You was awarded first prize.
