** ACTIVITIES **
4 Marlow Road Youth and Community Centre has lots to keep young people entertained including:
- table football
- X Box One
- arts and crafts,
- indoor sports and games
- outdoor sports during the summer months.
The young people help to put together their own session plans with an organised activity being offered at every session; these might include;
- competitions and tournaments,
- theme nights,
- arts projects and many more.
The staff work closely with other agencies to ensure that the young people are provided with all the latest information on issues that may affect them. This includes offering workshops such as alcohol awareness, bullying workshops and cyber safety.
Youth Centres are a mainstream service that everyone can access including young people with additional needs. You can discuss your particular needs and any support requirements with the session leader. Young people are also welcome to bring a Support Worker/Carer.
The Esteem Group runs from 4 Marlow Road for young people aged 8-19 with low self esteem. Young people with additional needs who can manage in a mainstream youth club and do not require one to one support can access the Esteem Group. We would look at each young person's needs on a case by case basis.
